Republican Candidates Continue to Work for the Vote

MANCHESTER - Republican candidates for the Board of Directors and the Board of Education continue to wage an aggressive campaign for office this week. Candidates are knocking ondoors, talking to the people of Manchester, and talking about real solutions. “One thing people always bring up are the taxes,” said candidate for the Board of Directors Jeff Beckman. “They ask me how we have the mall and all that development, and taxes that continue to rise?”

The Republican candidates for the Board of Directors have proposed a Covenant with Manchester Taxpayers, a three plank plan that spells out our plaform for reform at the local level. Click on “Platform” to learn more about the Covenant with Manchester Taxpayers.

The election will be won not in the newspapers or in mailboxes.  It will be won on the street, with our candidates looking residents in the eye, shaking their hands, and honestly promising to do something about the problems people face.  And in just a few weeks, Manchester voters will head to the polls and make their choices.  We look forward to talking to them.
