Journal Inquirer Covers Moose’s National Attention

Written by admin on October 30th, 2007

The Journal-Inquirer has an article about Steve “Moose” Edwards’ idea to send parents a report card on how well they are doing with their children.

“The point isn’t to punish parents, Edwards says, but to identify the families who could most benefit from school-based assistance programs. An example might be extra tutoring for students whose parents can’t help with homework, he has said.”

“Edwards said the parent report card would be an objective way of identifying struggling parents. Then the school system can step in to help these parents, he said.”
